Have you been keeping up with our Greatest Hits updates on YouTube and Seed&Spark? If not, here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve been up to.

Since the end of our campaign we’ve been releasing clips of Chris telling some of his stories to YouTube. Among the clips we’ve released are Chris’ stories from shooting with Elvis Costello, Jane’s Addiction, Steve Jones, and Pearl Jam. Here’s the most recent clip with Chris telling his stories about Pearl Jam. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay up to date on future clips.

As of my writing this we’ve completed several interviews for the film. While we have a lot of Chris telling his stories, we’ve also been working to get interviews with other behind-the-scenes people, music fans, and soon we’ll have some interviews with some of Chris’ subjects. Among the people we’ve talked to so far are George Michael’s manager Michael Lippman, Capitol Records Director of Creative Services Nicole Frantz, Artist Manager for THE FIRM Angelica Cob-Baehler, creator of the HBO series Carnivale Daniel Knauf, comedian Steve Agee, and musician and actress Juliette Lewis. All gave wonderful interviews about their experiences with music and also had some really exciting reactions to and memories of Chris’ photos.

Chris is in Los Angeles and I’m in New York. We talk pretty frequently but don’t see each other often. Fortunately, Chris came to New York this December for some meetings related to¬†Greatest Hits and we took the opportunity to have lunch. We discussed how his meetings would affect the progress of Greatest Hits and the strategy for shooting for the coming year. It was a good meeting. It was a fun meeting. It was definitely nice to be able to sit across the table from someone who I’ve been working with for much of the last year and have a face-to-face conversation.

That conversation was really encouraging as far as what we have planned for 2016. Chris has big plans for the project and I’m thrilled to be a part of helping make those plans happen. As we get more interviews arranged I hope to share more from all of them. Keep an eye here, on our official Seed&Spark page, and on YouTube for more updates.
